- As a vendor you need to keep the property
insured up to and including the settlement date.
- Certain institutions and authorities need to be advised
of your forwarding address. We will provide you with a check
list so that you don’t get caught out.
- A ‘Discharge of Mortgage’ must be supplied
on settlement date if you’re selling a home. We’ll
explain what needs to be done.
- You’ll need to provide a Certificate of Title if
your property is Freehold.
- As a purchaser you need to organise a copy of your finance
approval. We’ll tell you how.
- Before your mortgage documents can be organised, a Land
Transfer has to be prepared and signed, and a copy sent
to your lending institution. We can do it all for you.
- When purchasing a new property there are numerous authorities
such as Alinta Gas and Western Power to be notified, water
meters to be read, and insurance to be organised. We’ll
give you a complete check list so you won’t be caught
out.
- If you purchased vacant land the Ratings Authorities
and Land Tax Department needs to be advised when you build
and move into your new home. We’ll tell you how.
